Terms of Service & Refund Policy

What you get

A five-page website: Home, Services, Gallery, About, and Contact.

It includes:

• A working estimate form that delivers enquiries to your own inbox
• Your real project photos
• Your services, service area, and contact details
• Mobile-friendly design and local SEO structure
• All the source files, so you can take the site anywhere

Your copy stays as it is by default. If you’d rather we rewrite it professionally, say so and we will — at no extra cost. We’ll never add a claim about your business that you haven’t confirmed.

What it costs

$699 total. One time. No subscription, no retainer, no monthly fee to us.

You see the whole thing before you pay the larger amount.

What we need from you

We can’t start building until we have:

1. Your business name as you want it shown
2. Phone, email, and any address you want published
3. Your service areas
4. Your services list, confirmed or corrected
5. The email address where form enquiries should go
6. Your domain — which one, who registered it, and whether you can log in
7. At least six photos of your own finished work
8. Written confirmation of anything you want on the site that isn’t on your current one

On the photos: the Gallery is one of the five pages and we don’t ship the site without it. Phone photos are fine. Your own finished work is the most persuasive thing on the page, and nothing else substitutes for it.

You confirm that you have the right to use any photos, logos, text, or other materials you provide to us.

If we don’t hear from you, we’ll follow up at 7, 14, and 21 days. If there’s still no reply after 30 days, we’ll close the project, send you the files for the work completed, and keep the deposit.

Revisions

One round of changes, sent as a single list, within 7 days of us sending you the preview.

Included: copy edits, photo swaps and reordering, colour and type adjustments, contact corrections, section reordering, service list corrections.

Not included: a different design direction from scratch, extra pages, new functionality (booking, payments, chat, e-commerce), or a second round after the first is done.

Anything that’s our mistake — a factual error, a broken link, a photo the wrong way up — we fix, always, at no cost. That never counts as your revision round.

If we don’t receive a revision list within 7 days, the included revision round expires. We will not deploy the site until you have given written approval and the remaining balance has been paid.

Refunds and cancellation

We refund your deposit in full if:

• We can’t deliver for a reason on our side
• Your domain situation turns out to be genuinely unresolvable and the project can’t go ahead

We keep the deposit if:

• You stop responding, or don’t send the required materials, after the 7, 14, and 21-day reminders and the 30-day close

By that point the intake and setup work has been done, and you’ll still receive the files for whatever was completed.

You may cancel the project before final approval. If you cancel after paying the $199 deposit, the deposit is retained and you will not owe the remaining $500.

Once the balance is paid and your site is live, the project is complete and there’s no refund window. You’ll have seen and approved the site before paying that balance.

Our own factual or technical errors in the website we delivered are corrected at no cost. This does not include later changes, new requests, or problems caused by third-party services or customer modifications.

What you own

You own the final website files we deliver to you. Your domain, hosting account, and form account remain under your ownership and control. We use temporary access only where needed to complete the work and remove our access at handover.

Ownership of the final website files transfers when the project has been paid in full.

If we close the project under the 30-day non-response rule, you own any completed work files we send you at closure. No remaining balance is due.

Once you’ve confirmed the site is live and the form works, we remove our access and the project is closed.

What’s not included

We don’t host your site, maintain it, or provide ongoing support. There’s no retainer and no monthly fee — that’s the point of the price.

Domain registration and hosting are paid by you directly to those providers. Provider pricing varies.

If you want changes later, you have the source files and can use any developer you like. If you’d rather we did it, we’ll quote that job separately.

Changes to scope

If you want something outside the five pages described above, we’ll quote it as a separate piece of work before doing it. We won’t add charges to an agreed project.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, subject to any mandatory law that applies regardless of this choice.
